Dissimilarity of PSP 1000 / PSP 2000 / PSP 3000
PSP 1000: Released in March 2005, the first edition of the PSP. These are the most bulky PSP. It has been out of production for two years. Brand new sets are unavailable.
PSP 2000: Released in September 2007, the second edition has a less bulky body as compared to the first edition. Apart from the outlook, no much change has been made. It has been out of production for a year. Limited brand new sets left in the market.
PSP 3000: Released in October 2008, the third edition integrated with a microphone and an improved screen compared to the second edition. No other significant improvements apart from the mention two above. New sets are still available.

PSP 1000: Yes.
PSP 2000: Yes. Either PSPs manufactured before July 2008 [Motherboard revision TA-88V2 or older] or PSPs firmware set to version 5.03 or lower.
PSP 3000: Yes. PSPs firmware set to version 5.03 or lower.
Local and Export Difference
Local set meaning; PSPs are taken direct from agent. They come with a year official Sony warranty locally.
Export set meaning; Parallel imported PSPs. They don’t come with Sony Singapore warranty.
